Subdivision Surface Modelling
Task was to create a topologically appealing car and interior with playful shapes with subdivision surface modelling in Blender. Realism wasn't the focus, allowing for he texperimentation with the forms. The interior hade to be visible and the result should be smooth and aesthetically pleasing.
The trees are made using Mball in Blender. Mball (Meta Ball) in Blender is a type of 3D object used to create organic and smooth shapes. Meta Balls work by combining multiple "balls" that merge when close to each other, forming cohesive, almost fluid surfaces without the need for many polygons. This makes it easy to create soft, organic shapes, such as trees, mushrooms, or other natural forms. They are particularly useful in low-poly modeling, where high detail isn't as crucial, but a natural, organic feel is still desired.
To place the car into an environment, I created a low-poly world that rotates.
