Devialet, speaker
Our task was to create a product visualization with a technical aspect. I chose a high-class speaker from Devialet as the product.
One of Devialet's key selling points is their proprietary system capable of delivering exceptionally low frequencies and not just powerful bass, while maintaining unparalleled clarity and transparency at any volume.
I were inspired by the acoustic phenomenon known as Chladni figures, discovered by Ernst Chladni, to show these very characteristics.
This phenomenon occurs when a vibrating elastic disc is divided into squares, with the nodal lines—the boundaries between these squares—remaining stationary. This effect can be visualized by adding sand to the vibrating surface. Simple patterns emerge when low frequencies are played, while more intricate Chladni figures form at higher frequencies.
I utilized Geometry nodes to construct the movement patterns of the sand grains, employing modifiers such as the Wave modifier to simulate wave motion and Displacement modifier to generate irregularities within the sand texture.
